On 04.01.2023 one lady complained to ASI Shambu Dayal Meena who was posted in Police Station Maya Puri, West District, Delhi, that a person took mobile phone of her husband and threatened them. The ASI immediately reached the spot and overpowered one accused identified as Anis R/o Maya Puri. While taking the accused to Police Station, accused stabbed ASI Shambhu Dayal Meena repeatedly. Despite injuries, the ASI hold the accused till the arrival of PCR staff. He was admitted to B.L. Kapoor Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on 08.01.2023.
